REVISIONS AND WARRANTY POLICIES
Those brilliant research articles, business analyses, data analytics, research proposals, grant papers, thesis, dissertations, business plans, capstone projects, concept papers, board reports, and others are not the product of a single individual. It takes a team effort from our writers, project managers, editors, proofreaders, and even peer reviewers to convey experimental findings and paper arguments properly and effectively.
Despite the fact that we feel our writers, editors, statisticians, and project managers are amongst the most competent and experienced in the industry, it is not always possible to edit a paper to perfection the first time. As editors, we need to occasionally ask questions, clarify definitions, and solicit and invite your feedback as the attributed client author/researcher.
This is why our main services offer complimentary rounds of further editing, allowing you to see our modifications, provide comments or feedback, make more changes, and then have these changes verified for gaps, mistakes, or misalignment before submitting the final paper or project.
The 3-month warranty only covers minor revisions, we diligently work on free multiple revisions provided that the required revisions are minor. Major revisions such as those requiring new texts, new contents, or additional articles and others as our writers would consider major revisions or misaligned contents would require separate payments as these are additional levels of effort from the writers.
Before revising and resubmitting your paper or project to us for revisions, please read the following conditions to be eligible for our free multiple minor re-editing and free multiple minor revisions:

Writing fresh content is unavoidable while editing a work, especially after review. This runs the danger of creating new mistakes after editing, therefore we want to make sure you have some freedom to create new material and have it reviewed by our team.
To that aim, we will edit new content for free up to 30% of the editable word count (excluding references; total words x .30) specified in the original output. Text exceeding this amount will be charged for at the 20% rate of the total contract price.
- This excludes text in documents that were not initially modified by KMV Consulting (e.g., replies to the reviewer, panel, peer reviewer, investor or bank comments, supplementary information not included with the first manuscript or project material).
- Complimentary editing is provided at the discretion of KMV Consulting.
- Substantially updated papers and projects containing substantial parts of new material can be re-edited fully at a reduced fee.
- This service is valid for 3 months after the initial edit of the manuscript or project output is returned.

We prioritize updated papers and projects because we realize how crucial it is for you to achieve your submission deadlines.
We are generally able to return updated work in a few days, depending on our availability; but, because we are unable to guarantee availability in our schedule at any given moment, we specify a standard 7-day deadline (target only, and would still depend on the writers' workload) for all amended or revised papers and projects following our acceptance of the work.
The 7-day turnaround time (TAT) deadline applies regardless of the initial service speed selected; however, we will consider this as much as possible when scheduling your job.
Revision Cycles: Add-on major revision rates paid outside the original contract after the lapse of the original contract's 3-month warranty is good for a month. For instance, if there are multiple revisions in a month, say 3-4 rounds, of 3-4 times the paper is returned, you will no longer need to pay another or for 3-4 times, since the revisions or the exchange had happened within the month it was already covered.
After the lapse of one (1) month, that's the only time you will be charged again for the succeeding revision cycles.

Plagiarism scan with us is for free if you are our current client within the warranty; however, if ever the project or paper is highly plagiarized the first time you sent it to us and even if we were able to successfully edit the required edits following the scope of works, e.g. if similarity index is 30% above, and if you will request KMV Consulting to be the ones to re-write new and add fresh contents, or fully rephrase majority of the contents to lower the plagiarism index, we will need to charge separately for the original compositions and new texts.
Also the amount of add-on charges varies depending on what Similarity Index % (SMI %) you are targeting. If you are targeting below 10% SMI, the add-on charge may be a little higher compared to when you are only targeting 25% to 15% SMI.
Exemption: If your project/paper is "from scratch" KMV Consulting will not charge add-ons for the plagiarism issue. The add-on charge only applies to "just-revisions" projects.
OUR PLEDGE
The aforementioned revision policies are intended to make it clear how we work, allowing you to understand the editing process and collaborate with us in generating the finest quality written research or project possible.
We are not interested in charging for extra work that isn't absolutely necessary; it is far more important to us that you consider KMV Consulting as a long-term partner in manuscript/book/journal preparation, data analysis, business intelligence, academic research or business project preparation. Our team, on the other hand, is made up of highly trained and experienced editors, writers, business analysts, and project managers, whom we compensate for the time they spend carefully revising your work.
We offer a free service or a technical writing warranty for up to 3 months (as agreed in the contract), so even though for instance we turned over the final deliverables already, and you have fully paid already, you can still come to us for any future minor revisions so long as it is still within the warranty. The warranty will be effective from the date we turned over the "final draft".
In short, we offer multiple minor revisions free of charge as long as the project or paperwork is within the warranty period following the conditions stated above.
